I made this video while learning to use DaVinci Resolve over the weekend.

And here’s what the car looks like.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Current mods are big swaybars, better control arms and Watts link, 3.73 gears with Trac-Lok and Yukon Gear hardened axle shafts, carbon-metallic brake pads w/slotted rotors and 626° fluid, P-Zero Neros, trans cooler, stickier tires, OBD2 tablet, short-throw dipstick, and a bunch of other little random stuff. I had to remove the ballistic panel from the passenger door to shed 70-80lbs from the edge of the vehicle, but I left the one in the driver door.

Any other P71 fans out there?

It’s my DD and winter car but I’m a fan. Yours is sweet. So when is the turbo kit going on ? Ha ha

Where did you get sway bars and arms? That’s right along with what I want to do.

Nice car! I initially wanted black, and “settled” for white, but it’s grown on me. Still think the black ones look objectively better, though.

I bought a lot of my parts from ADTR.net. The owner is a Panther fan, and super helpful. Lots of parts to choose from, and you can get a night-and-day improvement in handling and control with just a few parts (swaybars and Watts link being to two most important.)

And currently I’m hoping to go with TrickFlow heads, forged internals, and a few bolt-ons for a quickish NA build, but ADTR does sell a complete centrifugal supercharger kit.

Great info ! Thanks.

Black is what made me get it. Its a little rough but solid especially for Michigan. Your build sounds great keep us informed. You know I’ve often thought that a p71 with a few choice mods would make great one lap of America car. Not to win just to have fun.

The suspension responds quite well to mods, and she’ll keep up with a BRZ in everything but the tightest mountain twisties as she sits now.

Next purchase is going to be 2012+ Ford Interceptor five-spoke 18x8 steelies and Nitto NT555 G2 summer tires, so I should be able to eke out a little more cornering grip.
